The
International Union of Painters and Allied Trades
has been a leading organization within the building
and construction industry since 1887. As a result
of the quality-training program District Council 36
continues to produce the highest skilled and best
trained workers in the industry. Our apprentices and
journeyman receive extensive skill and safety training
and the opportunity for industry certifications. Our
training program is partnered with the leading tool
and materials manufacturers, giving our apprentices
hands-on experiences with cutting edge materials.
Apprentices in our program can look
forward to receiving the necessary skills and training
to give them a competitive advantage in today's workplace.
Upon completion of the apprentice program, they can
expect to receive a competitive wages with the excellent
health, retirement and vacation benefits that come
