Join the Alliance for a Stronger Community this Saturday for our Campaign Kick-Off
Mark Ridley-Thomas for 2nd District County Supervisor
 You may recall that back in December, workers representing dozens of unions came together on the steps of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to announce their endorsement of Senator Mark Ridley-Thomas in the June 3rd race to replace current Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite–Burke.
Our reasons for endorsing Mark Ridley-Thomas are simple – we need someone on the board of supervisors who is going to stand-up for the issues working men and women care about, such as making sure we have access to good jobs, not just more poverty jobs. But beyond that, we are also members of the community with families to support. So naturally, beyond the traditional workers' issues we also care about our neighborhoods being safe, having access to affordable housing and healthcare. Ridley-Thomas has proven that he is the best candidate to help us reach those needs. That’s why we have teamed-up with members of the community to form the Alliance for a Stronger Community, our campaign to make our communities stronger by electing Mark Ridley-Thomas to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on June 3rd.
Now we need your help to elect Mark Ridley-Thomas on June 3rd. Bring your kids, families, neighbors and your walking shoes (we will be walking precincts) to our campaign kick-off and help make a difference. Details are as follows:
